Easter fun at Verado
Easter came early to Verado with a charming egg hunt at Verado Park. Nearly a dozen young children gathered on the day before Easter for the egg hunt, with baskets in hand. With the egg hunt lasting less than five minutes, it was the Carrot Patch that really stole the show. Guests of all ages were invited inside Carrot Patch, a wrought iron enclosure with a garden trellis and gates, to play with five young Mini Rex bunnies. Known for their soft fur and sweet personalities, these bunnies were also hand-held as babies, so they were comfortable with young children and being cuddled and passed around. It was a fun way it kick-off Easter Weekend!
